EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO LOCKDOWN – Krowji Christmas Open Studios was currently planned for 27/28/29th November 2020 and has now been cancelled.

Krowji’s Christmas Open Studios have been cancelled by majority vote by the participants. Because an alternative date cannot be certain, this year the Christmas Open studios event will be too difficult to reschedule. Many of the artists and makers will be selling online or taking orders for collection as an alternative. The Krowji social media pages and website will promote makers works.

Visit Trudie Moore’s artist studio by private appointment after lockdown

Subject to restrictions, I am accepting bookings for socially distanced private views of works in my studio and appointments throughout the coming winter months as well as the Open Studios usual drop-in format. Please contact me to find out the latest situation.

For my part, my website shop is still up and running. I have for sale original paintings, prints, Christmas baubles, painting studies and my back catalogue. I am working to bring the website shop up to date with all of the other items that are not listed on it however, please get in touch with me for a PDF price list while I do this.

Smaller original paintings that are easy to post are currently for sale on my website shop but if there is something you have seen at a previous exhibition, open studio visit or on my social media accounts, please get in touch with me and I can send information and prices and arrange delivery and payment.

I am offering private studio visits, in line with distancing measures (for example, if the rules state that you must not come to my space, we will arrange a date when you will be allowed, as of 5th November, Krowji’s rules are that visitors are not allowed inside the premises, but collection of pieces that takes place outdoors, would be OK).

Collections and delivery

Orders can be placed on my website for collection or delivery. If necessary, a courier can be arranged for delivery or I can deliver works in person within an acceptable distance. Work can be reserved with a deposit or paid for in advance and collected when restrictions ease.

I can arrange for anything that is not on the website that you may have seen through social media, or in website posts, or at the summer Open Studios to be available for sale. I have a card reader for contactless payments, or you can pay by bank transfer, cash, PayPal in person or in advance by invoice.

The best way to see original art is in person, with the artist – book a studio visit later in December

Studio Visits are a brilliant way for you to see my work, my art is meant to be enjoyed by the natural eye for the greatest benefit of the colour, scale, textures, lines, edges, transparencies, surfaces. You can’t get a good enough impression of my paintings from an online image as it’s very hard to convey the experience. Coming to see me in person in the studio where you can come simply to chat and find out more will offer so much more.

Seen something you like that’s not in the shop?

If there is a piece of my work you have seen online either through my website, social media or through my old blog or old website, I can bring it to the studio for viewing. My back catalogue is in storage and not everything has been photographed, so if there is something you like and want to know if I have more of, I can email through images.

Like something but it’s the wrong size, colour or you have an idea for a variation or a specific place?

Likewise if you would like to discuss a commission or a project, I can compile examples for discussion and meet you to show you more!  Here is some further information on Commissions and projects and an outline on what you can achieve by commissioning an artist.
